Even the
best tools will be subject to breakage if improperly used.
Advice to
avoid breakage:
- Cutting
edges must be well ground.
- Never lever
the tools.
- When perforating
reinforced concrete and meeting a reinforcing steel rod (penetration
arrested, metallic sound), relax pressure. Failure to do so
may result in damage to the tungsten carbide coating.
- In cold
weather, warm tools up before commencing work.
- Ensure
that the tool chuck ring and hammer rotation bush are not worn.
Keep both well lubricated.

reforging necessary grinding only
